On January 15th, Council Member Wonsley will introduce Evict ICE, Not Us and call on Governor Walz to issue an immediate eviction moratorium through executive order. She will also make a motion to allow public comment so that residents can speak about why we need an eviction moratorium. The motion needs nine votes to pass.

Then RSVP to attend this Thursday's (1/15/2026) city council meeting and prepare a statement of why this is an important step Minneapolis and Minnesota officials can take to protect our neighbors and communities.
