Get Involved

Neighbors for More Neighbors has always been a volunteer-driven, grassroots organization.

We welcome anyone interested in supporting our mission, vision and values to get involved with us at a level that makes sense for you – as a donor, as a volunteer member, or as a neighbor that steps up to support when you are able.

Volunteer with N4MN

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization, and we always have opportunities available for new volunteers.

Existing ways to volunteer:

  • Join a Volunteer Taskforce

The backbone of Neighbors for More Neighbors are our taskforces, which typically meet monthly or bi-monthly.

Our taskforces are short term (3-6 month) commitments where you’ll work alongside other volunteers on a specific need or area of interest.

  • Take Action on a Policy Issue

If your city or community has a specific policy opportunity (a proposed policy or project we are supporting), we may have an opportunity for you, or we can support you in taking your own action.

There are many opportunities to email a legislator, schedule a meeting with a city staffer, write a letter to the editor, or connect with other housing-related organizations.

  • Volunteer for a One-Off Task

Outside of our task forces, we regularly have needs based on your interest and skill set.

Examples: write a blog post or email, man a sign-in table at an event, do data entry, plan an event, conduct a bit of web research, and more!
